EnglishCorrection exists because almost every English test in circulation was checked by exactly one person: the person who wrote it. We are the review step that schools and publishers rarely have in-house.
What we are
An independent reviewing service for English-language test materials, working for schools, publishers, and individual teachers across Europe. We audit finished tests, mark student work, and write tests to specification — always with a named reviewer and a verifiable certificate.
We are deliberately narrow. We do not teach, we do not sell courses, and we do not publish our own practice books — reviewing other people's material is the entire business, which is what makes the review independent.
What we will not claim
We are a young company, and this page will not pretend otherwise: you will find no invented testimonials, client logos, or star ratings here. The honest evidence for the quality of our work is the sample findings report and the standards reference we work to. Read those; they are a better basis for a decision than any quote we could put in a box.

Every certificate names its reviewer, and the review fee never depends on the outcome. Second reviewers are brought in for bespoke test writing so that no test we write is checked only by its author — the same rule we sell.
Independence, in writing
EnglishCorrection is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by any examination board, university, or publisher. References to public exam formats in our reports are descriptive. Our certificate attests that an independent review took place — it is not an accreditation, and every certificate says so on its face. We review both UK and US convention materials and treat inconsistency, not either convention, as the error.
